The long anticipated Systems Analysis INterface Tool2, or SAINT2 is now available to the automotive public. The SAINT2 is a powerful device that uses a high-performance Infineon micro-controller with extensive on-board memory capacity.

Its robust design supports most major automotive serial communications busses without additional hardware. The following are now supported:
  – CAN - high speed, single wire, and
      fault-tolerant
  – Class 2
  – KW2000
  – I2C
  – SPI
  – LIN

The hardware design provides for an add-on daughter board to support additional serial bus interfaces or other hardware capabilities if and when they arise.
